What Wyllz is (and isn't).

A cheat sheet, not a store. Wyllz exists because buying an engagement ring is a four-figure purchase most guys make exactly once, with zero training, across the counter from a commissioned professional. The information advantage should run the other way.

What this site is

A short set of buying guides: what to spend, lab vs natural, which specs matter, and where the prices are honest. It started as pre-proposal research notes and got cleaned up because friends kept asking for them. Read the whole thing in twenty minutes; that's the design.

How it makes money

Affiliate commissions. Some retailer links on this site are affiliate links — if you click one and end up buying, the retailer pays Wyllz a commission out of its marketing budget. Three things worth stating plainly:

  • Your price is identical to visiting the retailer directly. The commission never comes out of your pocket.
  • Commissions don't rank the recommendations. Every retailer writeup on the where to buy page names a weakness, because a recommendation with no downsides listed is an ad.
  • No other revenue. No display ads, no sponsored posts, no selling your email — there isn't even a newsletter to get captured by.

What this site is not

  • Not a jeweler. Wyllz holds no inventory and sells nothing directly.
  • Not an appraiser. Whether your specific stone is well-priced is what certificates, 360° videos, and return windows are for — use all three.
  • Not a financial advisor. The spending guidance here is common sense in writing, not personal advice. You know your situation.
